Week 7 of “Let’s do 52“. Last week our theme was Linear, this one is Pretty Ugly, find the beauty in things many may consider ugly.

This week I went to visit my aunt who lives in a gorgeous green location near a small wood. There’s also a (dangerous) river there, the water is always brownish because of the sand and clay soil, so it’s not exactly pretty. It was nearly sunset and the light was special, I think there’s beauty in it…

Definitely one of the hottest and most unbearable. But there was a wedding, time spent outside in the middle of nowhere, close up experiments, heavy storms and sunsets (and now a lot of studying).

Week 5 of my 52 weeks project. Last week the theme was Unique Perspective, this one is Liquid.

I took advantage of the one day it cooled down a bit and went for a walk, this is the our big river. The trees in the photos are actually part of one of the many islands in the middle of the river.
I also played a little bit with post processing here, just wanted to try something new.

Week 4 is almost finished! Last week the theme was White/Negative space, this one is Unique perspective.

I know, I know, I could have tried a much better unique perspective, yet I’m posting another boring nature photo. It has been a crazy week, I’m even posting super late! Here’s my try:

Week 3 of my 52 weeks project! Last week our theme was Open, this one is White Space/Negative Space.

I found it pretty difficult considering I didn’t quite know what either White or Negative Space were, and I’m not even sure this image fits correctly. I did try though. I took a million pictures of flowers and nature crap at sunset and I have to say this is not really my favorite (the chromatic aberration is hideous) but this one is closer to the theme.
